About Body Aware Living

Self Care Made Simple

Margo Rose has been a certified personal and group fitness trainer for over 25 years, specializing in injury reduction, senior wellness, and functional fitness. She is the author of Body Aware Grieving, A Fitness Trainer’s Guide To Caring For Your Health During Sad Times, and the host of the Body Aware Living podcast. Her central belief is that our bodies offer useful information about who we are and what we need, and the Body Aware Living system is her method for teaching people to listen to it.

Her practical answer to that idea is One-Minute Wonders: quick movements that lift your mood and leave you feeling more optimistic, even in the middle of a difficult week. We all need practical ways to care for our health, and we need them most when we have the least capacity to take on something new. A minute is short enough that almost nobody can argue they don’t have time, which is exactly the point.
